Maurizio Tirassa is Associate Professor for General Psychology at the University of Torino, Italy. For his Master´s thesis in psychology he worked on Knowledge Structures for Planning and Understanding Speech Acts. In 1996 he received his PhD in psychology (Communicative Competence and Dialogue Planning) at the Universities of Pavia and Milano. Dr. Ttirassa held the positions of Contract Professor for Artificial Intelligence at the University of Venice and Researcher in general psychology at the University of Torino, where he became Associate Professor in 2001.
